Samsung launches new watches Gear Online Without Google system

The Samsung introduced on Monday (24) the new generation of Smart Gear line of watches. The biggest news, however, is for the two new handsets that have: instead of the Android operating system developed by Google, will run the Tizen devices, software created by the South Korean company.

Moreover, both Gear 2 Gear 2 as the Neo have super AMOLED 1.63 inch screen with resolution of 320 pixels by 320 pixels and 1GHz dual core.

The difference between the two is that Gear 2 is capable of taking pictures 2 Megapixels besides being heavier (68 grams) and have larger (36.9 mm x 58.4 mm x 10 mm). The Neo Gear 2 weighs 55 grams and measures 37.9 mm x 58.8 mm x 10 mm.

This is not Samsung’s first foray into the harvest of operating systems. Before using Android on their devices, the South Korean fitted them with Bada.

Without many functional innovations for the first Galaxy Gear, the two smart watches remain ancillary to smartphones and tablets Galaxy line devices.
