Programmer, model ‘geek’ defies stereotypes

Lyndsay Scott combines two unlikely careers: to brands such as Prada and Victoria’s Secret model and computer programmer ( watch video here ).

She says that some of the applications that created – one relationships – are on sale now at the Apple Online Store.

Lyndsay started programming when he was a child – and was encouraged to find that could create their own computer games.

Currently, she is also a mentor for a group called Girls Who Code, or encoding girls, who teaches computer programming to teen girls.

Young describes itself as “a model geek” and knows he’s breaking stereotypes.

“People do not believe that someone like me to be able to create robots or learn the language of programmers,” says Lyndsay. “But I’m surrounded by models all the time and many of them are young very intelligent.”
