Apple may launch iTunes store for Android, says site

The virtual store music, movies, TV shows and books iTunes, Apple can make a version for devices with Google’s Android system, according to a report in the magazine “Billboard” site.

According to the website, Apple is considering launching its service digital multimedia content for the competitor’s iOS platform to further expand the service to a wider audience. The company was in talks with several record labels to try to close a deal.

Aside from buying content, users could access music through iTunes Radio streaming service that competes directly with other services like Spotfy, very popular in the United States.

The “Billboard” says, however, that the agreement to launch the iTunes Store on Android is not simple and you need permission from Google to the application is available at the online store Google Play. The publication also claims that talks between Apple and record labels are still at an early stage and that the service, if the agreements are implemented, should not be released soon.
