Apple launches new iPod touch with rear camera for 200$

Apple announced on Thursday (26) the new basic version of iPod touch 16 gigabytes (GB), which will cost $ 200.

Now the player multimedia content with Apple’s touch screen has more color options and comes with a rear camera, the iPhone and iPad. Besides the silver model, consumers may also opt for the handset in pink, yellow, blue, gray and red.

Previously, the device had only FaceTime front camera of 1.2 Megapixel. The new version comes equipped with a rear 5 MP camera with ability to shoot Full HD.

The new iPod touch is equipped with A5 chip and has 4-inch Retina display. The operating system is the iOS 7, but the new version to be released in October, iOS 8, will run on the device.

Apple took the opportunity to promote the new prices for the models of 32 GB and 64 GB iPod touch, which will cost $ 250 and $ 300, respectively.

According to the company, the devices are now offered from today by Apple U.S. Store and should reach other countries in the coming weeks.
